  26. What the original poster asks currently is the way to *physically* connect
  27. the audio output of his CD-ROM to the audio output of his Amiga, thus
  28. having only one pair of speakers.

  30. This can be done internally for A4000(T) and A3000T.

  38. Only A4000(T) and the A3000T have internal pin connectors for the
  39. audio of the CD-ROM drive. Amiga-sounds and CD-ROM audio are mixed
  40. internally. The proportion of amiga/cd-rom tends to the amiga side, so
  41. sound f/x can be heard even if cd-sound is playing (for games,
  42. multimedia  etc.)

  44. All other amiga models have to mix the audio externally. Please do
  45. not just combine both left and right channels. This is not a very
  46. clever move. Both the amiga and the drive circuits can be damaged
  47. (and PAULAs are very hard to get in these times :-)
